Michael Chin

Michael is a well-respected investment professional with over 30 years of experience in asset management.

Michael is currently the CEO of Shareable Assets – one of the few MAS-licensed asset tokenization platforms to issue asset-backed security tokens. Additionally, he serves as an Independent BOD member of the Vingroup JSC. as well as a BOD member of the Pepper Savings Bank, the 3rd largest Savings Bank in Korea.

From 2019-2020, he was the Vice Chairman of Lumen Capital Investors, a leading family office in Singapore with $2B AUM. From 2019 to 2021, he also served as an Independent Director for Kakao Bank, one of the largest mobile-only banks in the world.

Before that, Michael had spent 22 years in various locations and functions in UBS AG. He is formerly CEO of UBS Asset Management Singapore ($20B AUM), overseeing the company’s Southeast Asian operations since 2015. Prior to moving to Singapore in 2015, Michael was CEO of UBS Hana Asset Management in Korea, a joint venture with Hana Financial Group with an AUM of $17.3B.
